Macron wins French presidential election

Incumbent French President Emmanuel Macron receives 58.55% of the vote in the second round of the presidential election, according to official data from the country’s Interior Ministry after processing 100% of the ballots.

Marine Le Pen, leader of the far-right National Rally party, has 41.45%.
